Mixing femme and industrial isn’t always an easy task, but we love a good challenge. Inspired by the function and design of claim checks and forms, the invitations included a perforated RSVP that could be separated and mailed as a postcard. To contrast the rich wood elements and grid layouts, we used a soft ecru paper for all printed pieces. The couple’s vows were designed and placed on clip-boards to match the look of the seating chart and invitation suite, while stamps and calligraphy were used to write sweet nothings on tag details. More industrial elements included table numbers burned into walnut slabs and a groom’s kit full of custom keepsakes like a wood and wool medal boutonniere and a monogrammed knife, wallet and cigar all packaged into a vintage cigar box.
